Charles Melton
Charles Michael MeltonĀ (born January 4, 1991) is an American actor. After working as a fashion model, Melton ventured to acting with guest roles on the television seriesĀ GleeĀ (2014) andĀ American Horror Story: HotelĀ (2015ā2016). HisĀ breakthrough came with his portrayal ofĀ Reggie MantleĀ inĀ the CW seriesĀ RiverdaleĀ (2017ā2023).Ā
Melton gained recognition for his leading role in the romance filmĀ The Sun Is Also a StarĀ (2019). Melton earned nominations for a Critics' Choice Movie Award and a Golden Globe Award for his acclaimed portrayal of a young man married to a much older woman in the drama filmĀ May DecemberĀ (2023).
