Egyptian actor Abdullah Meshref was born in 1942 and graduated from the High Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1968. He joined the Vanguard Theatre immediately following graduation, working with Mohammed Sabhy in his theatre troupe and appearing with him in several plays including: âWaghat Nazerâ (Point of View), âTakhareefâ and âLeâbet El Setâ (The Ladyâs Game). He also worked in television drama and is most well known for his public character (Abdullah) in the series, âYawmiyat Waneesâ (Waneesâ Diary). With respect to cinema, Abdullah played a number of prominent roles, appearing in films such as, âKatibat El Aadamâ (Execution Squad), âEl Bayda wal Hagarâ (The Egg and the Stone), âEl Haroubâ (The Escape), and âEl Hasat El Sabaâa (The Seventh Sense).
